Perch is a collection of furniture for the living space. Through my research I have studied human interaction in the outdoor urban environment, picking up cues around the city that translates to us as a resting point for a brief interaction. When we are outside during the stay most of the interaction we have outside is on-the-go between point A to point B. In learning what draws us to perch on I am capturing the interaction with the space as well and creating a more active and dynamic movement around the living space. The furniture that we have around the traditional furnished house today are accommodating hours on end of stationary use and do not encourage an active lifestyle for the days that we are spending a big portion of the day at home
